In 2008, our patient care outcomes continued to improve significantly in the number of diabetic patients who have their diabetes under control, the percent of women who had post-partum visits within six weeks after delivery, and the number of pregnant women who entered prenatal care in the first trimester. Childhood immunization rates for children 2 years of age and under who visited the Health Center within the last 12 months equaled 94 percent. With a large vulnerable population and changed immunization standards, we are honored to serve this fragile group of members of our community and eliminate deadly diseases and illnesses.
